Acceptable Use Policy
NSW Sport and Recreation welcomes all comments and discussions on our wall. We want to hear from our fans about what they love about our camps and their views, concerns and suggestions.
As a fan of NSW Sport and Recreation Camps, you are welcome to express your views, comments, ideas, insights, and criticisms.
Fans should also show courtesy and respect to others including employee’s and must not use the wall to abuse others, expose others to offensive or inappropriate content, or for any illegal purpose.
When using our social media vehicles, please ensure that you:
- do protect your personal privacy and that of others by not including personal information of either yourself or of others in your posts to the wall (for example, names, email addresses, private addresses or phone numbers)
- do represent your own views and not impersonate or falsely represent any other person or employee
- do not post inappropriate comments targeted at clients or employee’s
- do not post a comment relating to an allegation of significant misconduct
- do not be abusive, harass or threaten others
- do not make defamatory or slanderous comments
- do not use insulting, provocative or hateful language
- do not use obscene or offensive language
- do not post material to the wall that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- do not post multiple versions of the same view to the wall or make excessive postings on a particular issue
- do not promote commercial interests in your posts to the wall
- do not promote your own products or services in your posts to the wall
NSW Sport and Recreation reserves the right to remove any comments that are unlawful, threatening, offensive, defamatory, invasive of a person’s privacy, inappropriate, confidential or proprietary, product endorsements, or any other contact that might violate any laws or policies. This includes any defamatory or inappropriate comments aimed at the department or its staff.
